Leaves

Not unlike the average college student, I have perfected the art of procrastination. No matter the importance of the task at hand, (like the test I should be studying for) I always seem to be able to find something more entertaining and seemingly more urgent (like writing on a blog, which, though I tend to imagine masses of people reading, is more like a message in a bottle. It floats around aimlessly for days in the vast ocean before being eaten by some sea creature, digested with a bunch of other fishy juices, and then crapped out on the ocean floor).

So, to make the most of this message destined to become fecal matter on the bottom of the ocean, I’ll let you in on some other things I do with my creative procrastination time.

The changing colors of fall always inspire me to make changes in my life. I mean, the leaves are green all year, and then right at the last moment of their “leafy lives”, they become all vibrant and colorful. The inspiration is this… If I was to kick the bucket tomorrow (that would suck) but, there are a few things I would like to do. Like be a photographer for a day. (I had to act fast, cause I am very easily distracted. Friends calling with stuff to do, freshly baked cupcakes on the table, a passing butterfly, etc.)

We drove down to Utah lake at sunset, and in-between the passing red neck fishermen and cars parked for make-out sessions, I managed to snap a few good ones.

I'm sending this into the Dress Barn, or where ever she got that jacket. They can make it a billboard or something.

Precious..

Still precious...

Can't get enough of you two...

Awwwww...

That’s what happened when I got inspired by a dying leaf. I took pictures of my friend and my "friend stealer" (she's actually pretty cool...)
